Lucas (age 6 months) Weighs In

Our little man is 6 months old! And we celebrated with rice cereal (see below) and a trip to the pediatrician for a weigh in among other things. Lucas loved the scale and thought it was a new bouncy seat. (Little did he know that after the weighing came shots!) Oh, and in case your curious, Lucas is tipping the scales at almost 19 pounds.

I am all geared up with my new bib from Uncle Gert and ready to try some solid food after 6 months of milk...

Serious to Smiling

We are constantly amazed by Lucas's rapid mood changes. It just takes one jangle of a toy or tickle of the belly to transform him from a deeply contemplative mood to a giggling goofball.

First Swim

Swimming?!? Huh? I haven't done that since the good old days in the womb.

Its Hot Outside Mommy

With the temps soaring into the triple digits, Lucas felt like he needed a little extra eye protection to keep the UV rays from hurting those newborn eyes. So he asked Chani to help him put on his mother's shades, and voila, he was ready to hit the streets of NYC in style.
